What is REPs PHILIPPINES?
REPs Philippines is a public register which recognizes the qualifications and expertise of exercise instructors in Philippines.
Who runs REPs Philippines?
REPs Philippines is managed by the REPs Philippines Foundation, a not-for-profit entity set up for the benefit of Philippines fitness industry.
What does it mean to be a member of REPs Philippines?
Membership signifies that an exercise professional;
Has met nationally and internationally agreed occupational standards
holds recognised and approved qualifications
Is independently verified as being competent in the work place
is committed to on going professional development
What are the categories of registration?

Who sets the standards?
The standards of REPs Philippines are based on the Global Standards for fitness produced by the International Confederation of Registers for Exercise Professionals (ICREPs) – so we can demonstrate the Philippines meets best global practice.
Who approves the qualifications?
Courses to give entry to REPs are approved through an independent third party appointed by REPs Philippines. PD Approval applies a quality assurance system to training provider with no influence or involvement of REPs Philippines.
How do I become a qualified fitness professional?
In order to become a fitness professional and register with REPs Philippines you must hold a recognised qualification from an approved training provider.
What is ICREPs?
The International Confederation of Registers of Exercise Professionals (ICREPs) is an international partnership between registration bodies around the world that register exercise professionals.
Our Mission
Our mission is to expand, strengthen, and support a network of recognised national registers that verify the qualifications of exercise professionals for distinct roles in health and fitness.
What We Do
– Facilitate international portability/recognition for exercise professionals worldwide
– Provide information and support to countries and regions that wish to develop registration systems for exercise professionals
– Convene meetings and forums for ICREPs members to share best practices
What is CPD?
It is important for exercise professionals to keep their skills and knowledge up to date. Continuing Professionals Development – CPD – is about exercise professionals doing extra courses, attending workshops or conference or taking part in other activities, which increase their skills base. REPs members are expected to do approximately 10 cpd points per year period and to log their CPD “points” where in most cases one point is equal to one hour of learning.

How much does it cost?
It costs Php 4,999.00 (VAT INC.) per year to be a member of REPs Philippines.
How are my registration fees spent and is REPs Philippines “for profit”
REPs Philippines is a not-for-profit organization. Being not-for-profit is a requirement of ICREPs membership. Membership fees are put back info to the running of the register.
Can my REPS Philippines membership get cancelled?
